Torus Power to Show New PowerBlock Series at ISE 2019
Torus Power will be exhibiting its RM, AVR, TOT AVR and new PowerBlock Series at this year’s Integrated Systems Europe, 5-8 Feb. at the RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam.
Torus Power Isolation Transformers — not to be confused with power conditioners or surge protectors — decouple and isolate electronic components from the power source to eliminate transients and improve audio quality by lowering the noise floor. Connected components are protected from surges, spikes and brownouts.
Torus Power’s AVR2 models feature Ethernet control and monitoring and Automatic Voltage Regulation technology that protects equipment from surges, spikes, brownouts and other events caused by a variable grid. It also delivers a stable source of power regardless of outside line conditions. Connected equipment is kept within the optimal operating range of 220V-240V in the EMEA region. The AVR2 will be shown in a standard chassis design as well as a Wall Mount (WM) unit.
Torus Power’s TOT AVR has all the features of the AVR series into a 2U chassis. The TOT AVR is rated at 4 amps and, like the AVR2, the TOT AVR also features Torus Power’s Automatic Voltage Regulation technology.
Shipping in Q1 2019, the POWERBLOCK (PB) Series is Torus Power’s new midrange line of isolation transformers for smaller AV systems or single components. The new POWERBLOCK PB 4 isolates outlet pairs to separate source components from power components. In projects where it’s only necessary to protect a few components, the PB 2 offers four total outlets that will improve the audio and video quality for source equipment or smaller systems.
Great for luxury home theater and residential systems such as high-end audio systems, the original Torus Power models in the RM series remain, with models from 4 amps to 45 amps.
Torus Power will be at ISE in booth #1-Q115 and you can find them here.
